Beyond Feelings!
Where was I?
Which all places had I been to?
Of all the paths and places
I can recollect a few,
but not all at a time
or whenever I want!
I stretch my imagination
to the limits of my mind
to know how and where
my dreams originate.
Nothing is seen,
I can’t feel myself being there,
inside the womb of my mother-
Where must have I been!
But I was there for sure!
Then, why do I fail to see?
Where must have I been,
Which I fail to remember?
Query Of My Little Daughter
One day,
my little daughter,
seeing an old woman begging,
having no hands
and in her torn clothes
at the gate of her school,
was moved
while returning home.
She had carried her queries;
if the old woman had any home
to live in
for her protection
from the sun and rain,
whether some one cooked
and fed her,
and took care of her
when she fell ill.
I asked her
not to worry.
There are good people
to give her alms
and she would manage to live,
though with difficulty
with the help of others
and there is God,
the Almighty
to help her
when none is around.
Not convinced
with my answers
she wanted to know
as to why should God,
if He were there
to help the old lady at all,
take away her hands
