    INTRODUCTION

I was born and raised a preacher’s Kid. I had to attend every church service, whether I liked it or not. I remember being excited about Children Sunday school because the teachers taught the lessons interestingly. I loved the worship sessions and enjoyed the joyful atmosphere that enveloped each service. I knew there was a God not only because my parents said so but because I could see the miracles God did through my father (Bishop Dr. peter Atulaegwu) in those meetings.

However, I didn’t know the Lord personally until he revealed his love to me in one of those services (1998). I was nine at the time. My father had made an altar call after he spoke on the great tribulation and how Jesus would help believers escape through the rapture. He talked about how much Jesus loved us and died in our place. I began to weep. I was impressed by the Love, Christ has for me. The Spirit of God got me saved that day.

Afterwards, I began to notice a strong desire to serve the Lord. I admired the move of God in the life of my father and I desired to preach like him. I started studying the bible for myself and the Holyspirit drew me closer to his purpose for my life.

In February 2011, we held a revival service in high school (Evangel College, Lagos). The man of God, Reverend Martins was praying for the students. He suddenly said, There is someone here whom God has set aside for himself. God has ordained you an evangelist. He will use you mightily to save many.

While he spoke, I heard a voice say, He is talking about you. Suddenly, something hit me and I fell to the ground and began to pray in tongue for the first time.

That was the beginning of an intimate relationship with God. I began to hear the voice of God in my heart more often. He began to teach me things I didn’t know concerning his purpose for my life.

The past 16 years (1998-2014) of my life, has been an interesting journey of intimacy with the person of Christ through a relationship with the Holyspirit. I have heard God talk lovingly about his purpose for me, I have seen my folly
