Chapter One
What Now Oscar Finch!
Lizzie, Lizzie!
Oscar Finch screamed as he pushed open the gate to Lizzie’s back yard
What now Oscar, I’m trying to do something.
Lizzie replied as she tried to look busy
You don’t look busy Liz.
Oscar commented
Oh be quiet Finch. Never mind what I’m doing what do you want?
Lizzie Thompson snapped back
Did you see the big truck at the Huffensteins old house?
Oscar asked
Who would be there, that place is haunted.
Lizzie remarked as she peeked through a hole in the fence
No it’s not Liz!
Oscar said nervously
Yes it is. Why do you think no one has lived there for the past three years?
Lizzie said
My mom said it’s because they couldn’t unload the dump on any one.
Oscar said as he stepped away from the fence
"She just told you that
