About this ebook

Within the souls of each person, there is an irrepressible inspirational nudge to fulfill the Divine plan. May each inspiration become a light unto your path of self discovery. May each expiration become a conscious decision to let go of any and everything that is unlike the Mother/Father consciousness that might be holding you back from the purposeful plan that you were created to express.

Today and everyday of my life, I use my breath as a reminder that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I will dedicate the life I have been given to the glory of God who lives and express through me for the unending grace and greatness of the Divine inspiration that I am. And So It IS

    FOREWORD

The spiritual lessons reflected in these writings by Rev. Brewer are only a glimpse into a life time devoted to practicing spiritual principles.

Rev. Brewer offers the reader a clear and concise pathway to spiritual awareness and wisdom for everyday living. Her career and her life have been dedicated to teaching truth principles to all who are open and receptive to living a spirit filled life. Her ministry is largely devoted to teaching youth, families, individuals, and groups in search of evolving spiritually. She inspires her readers to go deeper into understanding that there is only One Life and that Life is God.

Rev. Brewer’s writings gently remind us that Spirit tells us only what we can understand and use in our spiritual evolution.

As we read and contemplate the writings of Rev. Brewer we move ever forward in living a spiritually conscious life.We are inspired to Let go and Let God.

In all thy ways acknowledge him and he will direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:6

    ALTAR OF FAITH

Within each one of us there is an altar of faith, life, truth, forgiveness, and peace. We only have to seize the opportunity to turn within and reside there a while. In all ours ways we are encouraged to acknowledge the indwelling Christ for the direction in this master universal plan for our lives. Too often we approach the altar when things are going array in life. What a perfect time to connect to the only Presence and Power that there is in the Universe? Perhaps we would not be in the predicament that we find ourselves in if we had approached the altar of faith on a regular and routine basis for common union, peace and goodwill refinement. The path of discernment is clearer and increasingly more personally directed because of the cultivated prayer life that has occurred before the life emergency.

I place my life’s intentions on the altar of faith. With all of the faith that I can muster up inside of myself, I know that all is well, and all is in divine order there is no need to be overly concerned or distracted by circumstances in my life or the lives of my beloved ones. God is and so it is, Amen.

    Pray without ceasing. KLV Bible

    ART AND SCIENCE

Prayer will save one tireless hours of needless pondering and searching as well as sleepless nights and wary days. Prayer as we are reminded by, Dr. Ernest Holmes is both art and science. The artful aspect of prayer is the personal unique style we give it depending on our individual point of reference. In the art world we have classifications by period and style. For example, Art Deco is that of the 1920’s and 1930’s. It had a rich decorative style. Whereas Art Nouveau combined the architectural art and decorative style in the late 19th century in a very ornate presentation. Here we have two different artistic preparations both classified as art and yet they are strikingly different. None the less they are both considered art.

The form of the prayer may have a variety of exhibitions. This depends on the mold or consciousness from which it pours forth. When we pour concrete into a mold, it takes on the shape and size of the framework. This is the scientific aspect to which Dr. Holmes refers. We will have an exact replica of the of the mold in manifest form. I believe this is why he prepared the five step method of prayer called Spiritual IVIind Treatment. It was developed in order for us to have a scientific method or mold for prayer. Within this mold we are able to express our artful selves in an appreciable way using: Recognition, Unification, Realization, Thanksgiving and Release.

This day I pray both artfully and scientifically. I know the vibration, intention, and rhythm of my prayer is my unique expression. The use of a scientific method of prayer is a tool to ensure my right use of the law of good now.

You can love other people only to the degree that you’ve come to love and accept yourself. Shakti Gawain

    AS IF

Very recently I received an inspirational e-mail that ended with these words.

Work as if you don’t need the money

Dance as if no one is looking

Love as if you have never been hurt

At that moment I was reminded of how much we live in reserve. These three lines are simply saying, do it now. Stop dancing to the music with reservation, trepidation and approval from those who don’t dance at all. Stop working for a paycheck, status, or a retirement date. Stop loving in a vacuum in a feeble attempt to preserve, protect, or reclaim our former selves. Working, dancing, and loving in the safe haven of what looks and feels familiar. If this place was such a good position to be in, we wouldn’t be struggling so hard to stay there.

The Psalmist reminds us that, "This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it Let’s put another spin on it. This is the day that the Lord has made. I will work, dance, and love in it as if the attachment to money, nay saying on-lookers, and former pain were a thing of the past, because they really, really, are just that. Allowing them to go I create a space and a place for the newness of Gods’ activities to express.

This day and every day I am reminded of the dance that life invites me to participate in, the work that Spirit produces through me, and the Love that I AM. Thank you Mother/Father God for this realization of truth as I dance, works, and love in Thee now. Amen, And So It Is.

Now is the accepted time; Behold now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

    AT LAST

At last my love has come along. These are the words to an old Rhythm and Blues tune. At Last was recorded in the 1960’s by a legendary artist, Ms. Etta James. She adds these words, My lonely days are over, and life is like a song. That same exuberance for life is ours to have and to live throughout eternity when we turn ourselves to that unconditional lover within. Ernest Holmes reminds us of the gradual conviction that dawns within us that God is all there is. At Last! That which we are seeking is actually seeking us as well. It is that moment in life when living becomes an orchestral symphony. The brass, woodwinds, percussion, and string instruments all read the same score, yet they play their parts independently to produce the melodic and harmonious symphony of musical rapture. We too are each significant parts of the whole, playing our unique and independent parts in the orchestra of life to effect
