My name is Mikel Smith, I was born in Detroit, Michigan. I was raised by a single mom, who worked all her life as a nurse. I have 2 brothers who I grew up with. I went to Henry Ford College for a few years. I won Best Poem in 1994. In this book are feelings and idea’s that I was having for 2 ½ weeks, I have much more I would like to share with you.
