I was born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, on November 21. I did not stay there long, for my father was in the army, in which, he moved my family to Manchester, NH long before I can remember. However, I am now living in North Carolina with my husband and step son. My goal is to one day have my own store selling all of my art work. In addition, I want to write children’s books with my photos that I have taken and played with. I write poetry in my free time, or when others ask me to write something for them. I have always been able to write poetry for people that cannot put their feelings into words. I am their voice!

The candle shined so bright in the bathroom light,
The glow would just grow, giving into the smoke,
It filled the house making a mother run,
For a child that is so sweetly young,
But before she could reach her pride and joy,
She falls with her last breath,
Leaving her child behind in hopes that help will soon come.
The horn of help is heard by all in sleep,
For a brave young man runs,
The child is found and brought to light,
Leaving behind a mother and father.
Without a mother and without a father,
A child will now grow,
But the love of them both,
Will live through friends and family,
For a child was saved,
From the growing candle light.
How Do You
Remember Me?
What will they say when I’m no longer here?
Those whom I hold so dear-
What shall they best remember?
Of a love so fair?
Will they recall all the mistakes I’ve made?
Things I have left undone?
The pain that
