About the Author
Acknowledgement
Of all the things that happened and didn’t happen to me, I am grateful that those things happened because after all they gave me these thoughtful pieces of poetry I never could have written otherwise. I am grateful to all the people who came into my life and left like nothing mattered. I am grateful to everyone who became a reason for some temporary satisfaction and euphoria. I am grateful to everyone who became ‘that one’ in my life.
But most importantly I would like to thank people who became the reason for me to write all this crap. Thank you Anusha, Pulkit, Akshara, Nayan, Satyam, Simrin, Feth, Akshara, Aakash, Siddharth, Faizal, Osama and Enrique Iglesias(well, he was the reason for half of my poems) and all others who helped out in the making of this book and brought about revolutionary changes.
More than that, I am grateful to the most awesome and inspiring teachers that anyone can ever get, but I did get them- Mrs. Gulwant Benipal, Mrs. Shefali Gupta, Mrs. Zeba Danish, Mrs. Preeti Goel and Mrs. Namita Chaturvedi and all the teachers who taught me since kindergarten.
And my biggest gratitude goes to the Poetic Licence without which half of my poems are senseless.
I would like to acknowledge the efforts and support of my family and extended family, without whom this would be still lying in my bookshelf, still handwritten and still unpublished.

Romance of the Age
Romance of the age,
Nothing to change,
He digs out the pit
And she is all into it.
He begins the thing,
And she respects the ring.
Night after night till late
They fall in love as they date.
Her mornings begin with his name,
Funny, how she sets him aflame.
She blushes at his wink.
The afternoons pass in a blink.
There is no reason to regret,
What all they let
Each other do to them; insane
How they suddenly enjoy the rain.
A little late in the night,
When she switches off the light
He is all she dreams of
Despite the cons of puppy love.
Day after day love grows,
What addiction is, it shows
In their every greeting
Love expresses in true meaning.
Pearl of Utmost Purity
Like a beautiful diamond you are to me,
A pearl in my heart of utmost purity,
Like a crazy lover
