About this ebook

In With An Open Heart, a book of thoughts and poems, I am hoping to transmit my thoughts, hopes, and feelings. Writing is something that keeps my mind occupied. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, something that was not easy for me to accept.

    Many Loves

    6920.jpg

There are many kinds of love.

    There might be many more

That I don’t know of or I forgot.

The first one is from God.

The second one from your mother,

From the one who gave you birth.

Then, the unconditional love that, when you need it,

    Is right there without conditions;

The innocent love, the one that only needs

    Hugs and kisses;

    And then the dangerous love,

The one with passion, the one with an addiction,

The irresistible one that never thinks,

The one that knows when you are weak

    And makes you fall,

The one that makes you believe

    In things that don’t exist.

    And the last one:

    The love you can’t explain,

But it is real. It’s in your heart,

Inside your head; it lives in your mind.

It is willing to live or die just for you.

Love: What a beautiful word love is.

    Want to Be

    6923.jpg

I want to be everything for you.

    I want to be you.

    I want to be your best friend;

I want to be your lover.

I want to be yours all day.

I want to be your dog

    And get your shoes

    When you come home.

I want to be your cat.

    If you are exhausted,

I will softly rub your back.

I want to be your bed

Where you lie down every night.

I want to be the dreams

    You have every night.

I want to be your mirror,

So you can see your reflection in my eyes.

I want to be in your life,

    Called by name your wife,

And live forever at your side.

    Mystery Poem

    6925.jpg

    I am writing a poem,

But I don’t know what about:

Maybe about a friend or a lover.

Maybe about a family or a flower.

Maybe of fear, or a book.

    Maybe about me

    Or something about you.

Could it be about my singing bird,

Or something from my dog or the world?

Maybe about this life, or just about the stars,

Or about another planet or the moon and the sky.

Or just about my lost cat.

Since this poem is still a mystery,

I will just call it a mystery poem.

    I Don’t Want to Die

    6927.jpg

This life is so sweet, like a pie.

This life is splendorous, like the sun.

This life is so bright, like a star.

    I don’t want to die.

    This life is incredible.

    This life is so important.

This life is like a beautiful dream.

    I don’t want to die.

    This life is interesting.

There is a lot to learn.
