I grew up at a time when making choices was automatic and normal. It was part of everyday life. When the opportunity arose, I made good and bad choices. I made a good choice when I was drafted by the army, and I volunteered. It presented a prospect for a better life at the time. Another good choice was to change my behavior and become a more productive citizen. A bad choice was to forget how to make choices that made me happy and how good a good choice really is. When I was younger, one of the best choices I made was to enroll in college and obtain a degree.

This information is a chronicle of my life voyages and endeavors, the ups and downs of my choice making. During my life, I have made good choices that yielded good results, good choices that yielded bad results, and bad choices that still haunt me.

As I reflect back, sometimes I felt spellbound with some of my choices going nowhere, afraid I would be seized all of my useful life and expire as an unhappy person. I did not have any idea that all I had to do was make good choices, follow through on my choices, not live with initial choices that went bad, and this would allow me to achieve happiness beyond tomorrow.

However, at times, I was so stubborn that I would not change my first choice. Because of that, I suffered unnecessary pain. Also this seemed to equate that I did not have the nerve to cope with the imperfect. Contrary to the way I felt, as I began to analyze my choices and consider alternatives, my life and awareness began to change. For the first time, I realized that it was imperative that I enhance my choice-making skills. At that point, I recognized the need to reconcile myself to making choices that made me happy.

I am so happy that I now am able to use my choice-making experiences to assist you in reaching a positive outcome in your choice-making quest. Therefore, it is my hope that this information provides encouragement that will enhance your opportunities to make good choices that produce the utmost of happiness.

Personally, I thank my God for my health, strength, enjoyment, and the many blessings that I have received for so many years. Also to my children (especially Kanysa, my little princess) whom I love so dearly, my brothers and sisters that keep me focused with continuous love, and my friends whom I continue to receive encouragement from . . .
