About the author: Charlotte Berger has been writing most of her life. In May 2013, she received her Associate in Arts degree from Somerset Community College and an Associate in Applied Science in General Business degree from Northeastern Technical College. All of her children’s books fall under her theme of Doozy and Thoozy Children’s Books. Her first book entitled, Doozy the Lonely Firefly, was first published in 2006 and republished in 2011 under her former pen name, (Charlotte K. Brummett). In March 2006, she won the Editor’s Choice Award for her poem entitled, “A Survivor’s Longing” from the International Library of Poetry. Aside from spending quality time with family, writing is one of her favorite pastimes. Snazzy Razzy is her second children’s book and more are forthcoming. Her third book entitled, My Blue Moon, will soon be released this fall. She has a love for God, children, and a passion for life. She believes the key to staying healthy, happy, and successful is having faith in God, daily prayer, and believing in yourself.
