In The Trauma Of Abuse Book was written to encourage people from all walks of life that no matter what situation they are in, or where they come from you can still make it with faith, hope, and believing in yourself. Javvi was abused as a child from the time she was 4-16 years of age, and had no one to turn to.

Eventually she got out of the abuse. However, she married later in life and got herself and children in an abusive relationship. Tired of the abuse she started reading books on self-esteem, and how to break bad additions, such as attractive abusive relationships. As a healing process inwardly she writes poetry, music, and have started a servant ship of encouragement to others who are homeless single families, single families, the broken hearted,the incarcerated,those who are grieving, those in domestic violence situations(men&women) and childhood survivors of abuse. The servantship is done through sending encouraging cards with her poetry on them, e-cards, cards, letters, and encouraging phone calls.

The book was written to teach others how to stop the cycle of abuse, and how to go on with the life that they have, and learning to let go of past issues and bitterness. Qualanno is a 10 year old, multiracial young man who is a 5th grader & home schooled. During his spare time he likes to write books, poetry, paint, color, draw, and enter art, science, and spelling contests. Qualanno’s hobbies is riding scooters, skates, playing soccer and hockey; he also enjoys cooking, and taking up social skills class, singing and acting. Currently he’s working on a documentary for his family’s non-profit organization that can be located at www.encouragementinthetrauma.org Currently, he is in the middle of producing a commercial for their organization and a video. He’s also in the process of making a movie called In The Trauma Of Abuse (to show children positive things that you can do when you are going through trauma at home, or in your neighborhood). He says, “Under The Water II will be out by June 2010”. He has plans to become a veterinarian when he grows up. Being a lover of animals, he has a bird, gerbil, and a bear hamster, and enjoys riding horses. Qualanno’s brother is named Jacquinno Stovall, he helps him illustrates his books. Jacquinno is a 12 year old, multiracial young man who is a home-schooled 6th grader. During his spare time he likes to write music, write books, read some, play video games, draw, and paint. A great deal of his time is spent exercising and kick boxing. Jacquinno’s hobbies are traveling, riding horses, cooking, making ice cream, playing the guitar, and singing. He is good with the use of his hands and enjoys drawing and painting. He has a bird, and wants to eventually own a golden-retrieval. I would like to dedicate this very special book to God for helping me keep a single, and sound mind, and bringing the right people in my life at the right time to direct me on how to raise my children, and on how to keep myself together, and continue on the journey of life.

Secondly, I’d like to dedicate this book to my two precious children Jacquinno, and Qualanno. I cried on my babies’ laps many a time during our abused marriage, and they cried on mine. They have brought a lot of joy and peace in my life that I never experienced as a child. Every two years when we visit a different type of roller coaster ride it’s my chance to not only see them growing up, and having fun, but I also get to have the childhood that I never had. Although I’m afraid to jump on the rides they hop on, just ordering food, buying them stuffed animals, them playing games to win, and using their spending money brings great joy to me. I get all happy, and excited running to one end of the park to another with them. Before long they are telling me to slow down, and wait up. The hours we spent doing their homework, and taping our family meetings, are the most treasured moments I’ve enjoyed. I am very proud of both of them, and I love them very much. I didn’t realize that I had so much energy within me.
