RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE USE OF THIS BOOK
DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to my granddaughter, Lee Annah Walters and to young ambitious people everywhere.
INTRODUCTION
This book is, indeed, an outgrowth of my labor of love.
Initially, I wrote and mailed weekly Grandpaisms
to my granddaughter, who was then a college freshman. I envisioned that my Grandpaisms
would be a unique means of sharing thought-provoking reminders, enlightening recommendations, and would enable me to offer support and regular communication.
After my granddaughter expressed her pleasure in receiving her weekly Grandpaisms,
I decided to compile them and others in a book that I am now, hopefully, sharing with the world.
I’m sure that parents, guardians, counselors, and other adult influences will find this book to be an invaluable tool for providing young adults with family-friendly non-threatening, no-nagging
reminders, affirmations, recommendations, aphorisms, and subtle messages.
Enjoy,
Ron Parker
