PREFACE

MANY MAY FEEL that their Mom was the best, the greatest, but our Mom was not only that—she was an ANGEL. We are convinced she was more than special, more than unique, more than anything we could ever hope to be, although we try—everyday we try to be more like her. Our Mom, Mrs. Ogelee Daniels Harrison, was given to us by God. She left an imprint on our lives and the lives of many that will never be forgotten. Her life is an example of Psalms 112 (Living Bible Version) which states:

Praise the Lord. For all who fear God and trust in him are blessed beyond expression. Yes, happy is the man/woman who delights in doing his commands. Her children shall be honored everywhere, for good men’s sons/daughters have a special heritage. She herself will be wealthy and her good deeds will never be forgotten. (Vs.1,2) God’s constant care of her will make a deep impression on all who see it. She does not fear bad news, nor live in dread of what may happen. For she is settled in her mind that Jehovah will take care of her. That is why she is not afraid, but can calmly face her foes. She gives generously to those in need.

Her deeds will never be forgotten,

She shall have influence and honor (Vs 6b-9).

This scripture describes our Angel Mom and her children. We, like her, are truly honored and respected wherever we go. We have a special heritage. Our Angel Mom raised us in the love, respect and reverential fear of God. For us, God was not this high being in heaven—he was and is our Father, our Daddy.
