About this ebook

Many times I was called things which were not
pleasing to hear, but I never let that get in my
way. I had dreams of being somebody, but I
pushed them to the side because anybody can have dreams.
I always felt different about myself, but I couldnt
explain it. Being told constantly that I was different from
my mother never settled in until now. After finding myself,
I made myself a promiseto never let myself be lost again.

FRIENDSHIP, HOW DO YOU KNOW? [7]

I care for no one of this world

except for a glowing precious pearl.

I talk to you from day to day.

Turn my back, what do they say?

They are gone so let’s spread the news.

I was called everything in the book,

    It shook my mind, trembled my heart;

tears fell not from pain, but mostly from anger.

    I thought I could trust you! Now I see that I can’t

for I am a pawn, someone for blocking purposes only.

    I’m stressed in my surroundings,

    but looking for that yes,

I found it in a cloud of dust,

As the dust settled, there stood a king,

with two knights and a bishop. Standing tall

in my view that he was small,

with a crown from the world that made him the stars.

As I approach, please, take my hand; hold on tight,

get on my stallion, hold on to me.

For you were the lost rainbow that never shined.

Now as you leave with me, those that bicker,

worry not for it is over.

Keep this in mind if nothing else.

You lie in a coffin looking at yourself,

    wondering who will come,

At the arriving, they look at you sleep,

    still, without a defense.

    They talk about you.

You only wonder: "Were these my friends,

the ones I helped and shared my life story?"

Like the king said, "Trust those who you don’t hear talking

    of no one or gossiping,

for love is true and hatred is false,

Sometimes they can seem to be crossed!"

    TOGETHER AS ONE [7]

Here I sit in the dark covered room,

feeling safe from the most hurtful thing in this world.

What could that be, well of course—mankind.

Staring out of thirty-six windows, knowing not what to expect, hoping for a sparkle to catch my eye.

Like I say we pray for things that mean so much to us

    but never come true.

I feel so safe behind closed doors,

which make me not afraid of the other side.

Looking as hungry animals pass me by,

but can’t see or smell my odor.

    They look through the glass,

I step back, holding my heart!

Happy am I that darkness is my friend

with the sparkle in my eye.

I was always told that dark was evil, bad, sad, and hurtful. Wrong was the crowd that fooled my mind.

Darkness with a sparkle can be your best friend.

It can hide you when needed, no one can find you.

You can watch your enemies as they pass you by.

I shake in the night, for my mind scares me

of the thought of being here.

I look up at the sparkle saying to it, "Please don’t leave,

for if you do please take me."

Lonely I would be, for real is not the people of the past.

Before I found the darkness to be my friend, I myself felt the two-edge sword pierce my back as I was in a slaughter house with only a prayer but no one to listen!

Tears streamed down my face, but there was a sparkle that told me, "Run, for I will be there always.

I say to you, my life and yours will
