    The great thing about my relationship with you is the accessibility. You’re always home and the line is never busy. I have friends I could confide in and ask for help, and I sometimes do, but they are often on the phone, shopping, working or on vacation. I can always count on you. Not by phone or E-mail or even by Fed-Ex. You are there on call whenever I am in need, or desperate, or even when things are going great, and I know I am never alone.

    Sometimes I’m a little awestruck by the beauty of the earth, especially at night. I love your night skies and the friendly stars you placed in the heavens, reminding me that you are close by. Thanks, God.

    Winter Fog

    Winter fog is a strange phenomenon. One usually thinks of fog rising from a river or lake as the sun pulls the vapor from the icy water. Then there is the fog that creeps in from the ocean at any time of year and it is expected to arrive at will. Winter fog is different. It arises in the gloom of day or dark of night, hovering over the snow covered hills and fields.
