    About the Author

    PREFACE

Have you ever felt abandoned, forgotten, hopeless, overwhelmed, and left wondering if you should just quit life? Have you experienced pain so great you couldn’t catch your breath? Have you ever had so much sorrow that every cell in your body hurt? Have you ever felt everything was lost and you would never recover? Well, I have, and I bet I’m not alone. If you have had those same thoughts, this book is for you.

This book is a journey of healing. From sorrow, suffering, and loss, through trials and tests, to enlightenment and healing, I will share my personal stories and experiences, my struggles through confusion, groping for hope, and fighting for faith. This is a story of my work, my heart, my soul, God’s promises, and His ever-faithful help even when I could not see Him. He has proven His everlasting love.

I will share my experiences as a nurse, a healer, an intuitive empath, and a survivor of horror and loss, desperately trying to make sense of this life and its pain and suffering. I will share my despair and depression in the midst of confusion. I will share how a mustard seed of faith is enough, how God works in mysterious ways, and how He unfolds miracles and grace. I will share how God is ever near and knows every detail. I will share the Holy Spirit’s messages to me and share how each of us can hear, interpret, and act on the Spirit’s voice. I will share my visions and reminder of His great saving plan. I will share how the pain was for my gain and how God is faithful and eager to rescue.

There is hope. There is a plan. God is in control and is still on the throne. His hand is outstretched to each of us. All we have to do is seek Him, find Him, and take His hand. I invite you to join me in the hope that you can receive comfort, insight, and faith for your own journey on this earth.

I want you to trust me in your times of trouble, so I can rescue you and you can give me Glory.

    —Psalm 50:15 (NLT)

    THE SUFFERING

Please make it stop! How can I remember no more

The sorrow that made my heart a-tore?

The sever so great—was it ever whole?

I do not remember it so; maybe ’fore this life was stole.

    I cannot recall a time of pure;

Maybe before this pass of life endure.

Mercy, grace, I beg of Thee,

Peace, at last, can there be.

    Rebalance, accept, release the shame.

And our hope is steadfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye also be the consolation.

    —2 Corinthians 1:7 (KJV)

A s an intuitive empath and compassionate person, I found becoming a registered nurse to be a natural way to help and heal others. When I was a young girl, one of my favorite books was Nurse Nancy. The book was a cartoon picture story about a cute girl who wore a nurse’s cap and cape and helped her pets and stuffed animals heal. She would put bandages on the stuffed animals and wrap dressings around her pet dog. She had her own stethoscope and other nurse’s instruments. She appeared so happy, organized, and helpful and seemed to be saving the world, or at least her neighborhood. I would read this book over and over and think how wonderful it would be to make a difference and help those in need.

Well, I grew up, eventually went to nursing school, and
