About this ebook

Author Dr. William Epps, a licensed and ordained minister, believes in preaching and teaching Gods word to enhance Christian education and Biblical knowledge about Jesus Christ. In In Search Of, he makes a trip through the Bible, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, to convey what the Bible offers as a plan of salvation.

In Search Of is based on two views, the Old and the New Testaments. The Old Testament is the foundation that was laid, and the New Testament is the fulfillment, which was, which is, and which is to come. Epps explores a variety of scriptural-related subjects such as law and the covenant, combination of law and Psalms, major and minor prophets, baptism, communion, evangelism, and the Baptist doctrine. He provides further discussion on the books of Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Timothy, Titus, and Revelations.

Shedding light on the important messages contained within the Bible, In Search Of helps Christians better understand the true basics of the Bible and its history.

    INTRODUCTION: OLD TESTAMENT

From the beginning, God established order, and within the order, all things related to one another according to the way in which they are connected.

The first thing God did, He Created Light, dispelling the inherent darkness. We have never seen darkness put light out of business, we are told light and darkness have no fellowship with each other, the nature of how the two relate, the purpose is showing how they contrast.

Light and darkness illustrates the difference in good and evil, the children of God is Light, darkness is of the Devil. All are called to obedience; we must choose whom we are going to obey. Ultimately, we make a choice on how we relate to God, and our fellowman. God has provided us with all the guidelines to obey Him correctly. His law is constantly telling us to put the being of others ahead of self. God has given us Knowledge, skills, and all resources that we need to worship Him, and to serve Him as well.

He really ensured those who truly seek Him. When we come to a saving awareness of Jesus Christ, then the Holy Spirit provides unique gifts to abide purposely, and to be fulfilled in His Love, upon which He has called us. We enter the house of Prayer to worship Him, and depart to serve Him. God stepped into a dark room, and turned on the lights that we may see how to follow after Him. This light that I am speaking of is the illumination of the Holy Spirit through the heart.

The Spirit moves all doubt. The Devil can make the
