My husband and I have two wonderful children and five loving grandchildren. I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi; there I earned my BS and Master’s degree in Library Science. I was employed at the public library (The Library of Hattiesburg, Petal & Forrest County) for approximately twenty-six years.
Alisa is a Librarian with more than 30 years’ professional experience in public libraries. She received her MLIS from the University of Southern Mississippi and is currently an Assistant Director who manages technical services for a nine-branch library system located on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. Alisa has developed policy and procedure in her current and previous positions, written numerous successful grant proposals, and her book reviews have appeared in Mississippi Libraries. She enjoys listening to music and conducting personal genealogy research.view less
