Grandson Victor

Many years ago, when I thought I had completed this book, my precious grandson Victor was still very young, and I had mentioned this book to him. But now, the years have passed while this book lay nestled warmly beneath my pile of written materials. Not too long ago, I added a few more hilarious moments that I felt were fitting to include in this book. It is Christmas time again (2017), and I have finally completed the writing of this book. For the second Christmas, Victor gave me another book to read (along with other gifts). While again leafing through the book he gave me last year (Lillian’s Right to Vote by Jonah Winter & Shane W. Evans), I stopped again when I read the words he wrote inside the cover and thought to include his expressed words somewhere in this book. This is a good place. I was warmly reminded that I cherish the memories and laughter he gave me as a child. This is what Victor wrote to me:
