About this ebook
We are nothing when we focus on self. We are our worst enemy, however some people have an extreme selfishness. Those who love their own life, will lose it. Hate your life and have life eternal. Watch out for the seven deadly sins, but those who love the Lord will neutralize sin. Forget about self and take up your cross for Christ is eternal perfection. Fulfillment from self, person or things are not possible. Stabilization of our emotions comes from loving our first love. Those who are joined to Jesus will become one with him. God has not called us to be successful, but faithful. Remain in the Son, the real vine. The gifts of the Holy Spirit and the fruits of the Holy Spirit gives us the appointment to build his body through the five-fold ministry. But do not get disconnected from the real vine.
The heart of ours is important. At the first sign of trouble, center your heart on Jesus. Sometimes we have a heart of stone, and that's why we need the heart of flesh, however, life proceeds from the heart. As we became an adult, our heart can sometimes deceive us. Our first love helps us overcome our judgements and resentments. The flesh sometimes overwhelms, so train your heart tarry in the Lord's presence. There is a testing, but Jesus will never let go of your hand. Peter denied Jesus, but at lake Tiberius, Jesus affirmed his mission for God. Our gaze should meet his gaze, and have a thankful heart.
Our imagination should be used for Godly purposes. In the fleeting moments, the enemy will draw us away from God. Chris is a true testimony on how he had a gambling addiction. Once we are too used with Jesus, we will not want to use our imagination for nothing else but purity. Our five senses are used for the glory of God. Our eyes fixed on the Lord. The mouth confesses the Word of God. Hearing the voice of the Lord. The sense of smell. The sense of touch.
Jesus is the healer of anxiety, fear and depression. Our society is hit with anxiety and depression. However, God deals with our depression. Our problem is we live by the standards of the world. Yet, faith in God stems depression. So, how do we handle depression? Even Bible heroes suffered from depression. Have hope and call upon the Lord. The depression will hide, depression is a demon spirit. Finally, God has a plan.
Fasting for the physical helps our health, but because of the trends of modern eating, are not compatible with our bodies. God has a perfect eating plan, but not all of us can follow, but we can do intermittent fasting, to help in the healing of the body. Fasting for the spiritual, is for flesh, so that we can further God's agenda. Moses, fasted for forty days, spiritual power comes from extended fasting. We fast with the help of Holy Spirit and Jesus fasted. God will fight our battles. However, does God answer all of our prayers? Finally, some advice on the importance of drinking water.

Chapter I
Self is the Biggest Problem
Today, the general population of people focus on themselves and on their emotions. They preoccupy themselves with their past, family feuds, pain, anger, ego, pride, lost goals and revolve their lives around self. All that is frustrating our living today, is a self-issue, because it is to do about self.
Galatians 6:3 (GNT) If you think you are something when you really are nothing, you are only deceiving yourself.
Nothing when Focused on Self
UNQUESTIONABLY, JESUS is the most important person in our lives; he died to redeem the world back into his Father’s presence. Tirelessly our Savior Jesus worked his ministry for three years, giving up his life for the entire world.
He is the Son of God and deserves all our praise and obedience. As we keep our eyes on him, his Spirit permeates into our life-force and he deals with all self-issues. They come apart and they drop off a little by little, and we are free to walk in our Redeemers footsteps and bask in God's divine light.
An Example of Self
Philippians 2:3 GNT Don't do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering others better than yourselves.
AT ONE TIME, ANGRY with our sister/brother, for what they did or said. The enemy has deceived us into thinking we are something when we are nothing without the humility to forgive. The enemy of our soul keeps our eyes on what that sister/brother did and he binds us in unforgiveness. Our eyes focused on our feelings of resentment, bitterness and tied to the spirit of unforgiveness. This is a self-focused person.
To experience freedom, be a God focused person. Decide to look to Jesus and allow his love, grace and mercy, to influence your heart. Let the unforgiveness fade away with him and flow down the river of God's Spirit and Love. The river of God’s presence overcomes the spirit of unforgiveness, overwhelmed and returned backed to sender, the devil.
In God's presence, we can never harbor negative feelings, all vaporized by his glory and they just cannot survive in his saving presence. The key is to forget self and remember Christ.
He who trust himself is lost. He who trust in God can do anything St Alphonsus Liquouri
Our Worst Enemy
HONESTLY, LEFT TO OUR own devices, we are self-destructive, self-abusive, self-righteous, and self-reliant. These are some of the self-things we are capable of. Literally, our own worst enemy killing ourselves with self-issues. This poison of self, enduring within and so desperately looking for an antidote. From our birth, we focused on our needs and our emotions, our parents would reinforce, Nobody will look after you, so think of yourself
.
Extreme Selfishness
James 3:16 GNT Where there is jealousy and selfishness; there is also disorder and every kind of evil.
THE MASSES OF PEOPLE in this world deal with extreme selfishness. They depend on self because they fixed their eyes on self. Their human (Carnal) nature controlled by
