      PSC Review: As we’re all learning not all children come with the inner knowledge of what gestures and facial expressions mean. Although designed for younger tots, this book will come in handy for those working with kids who struggle with this. The multicultural photos and the rhyming text show the common things: hugs, smiles, fear. It also shows things like “Yum! Means I like it,” “a pout means I’m mad,” “a roar means I’m scary. Sometimes a two-dimensional form doesn’t really express what a shiver is, but the reader and child can certainly participate in the story by acting these words out as they read.
