DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES’S BEAUTIFUL NIECE LADY AMELIA SPENCER AND FIANCE GREG MALLETT SHARE THEIR ENGAGEMENT JOY AND ENCHANTING LOVE STORY FOR THE FIRST TIME
‘The day that Greg proposed was the most romantic day of my life’
Surrounded by breathtaking South African vistas as she poses for this world exclusive photoshoot, Lady Amelia Spencer, the niece of Diana, Princess of Wales, and her fiancé Greg Mallett are radiating the kind of blissful happiness that comes from being newly engaged.
Choosing to give their first photoshoot and interview exclusively to HELLO! , the well-connected couple, whose enchanting love story began 11 years ago, have returned to the stunning setting of Greg’s proposal – Clouds Estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
“The day Greg proposed was the most romantic day of my life,” Amelia tells HELLO! . “He has been my best friend for 11 years and everything about him makes me feel like the luckiest person in the world.”

‘Greg and I clicked straight away. It took us a week or two to say we loved each other’
Despite her royal connection, Amelia enjoyed a normal and private upbringing with her siblings – twin sister Lady Eliza, older sister Lady Kitty, 29, and younger brother Louis, now Viscount Althorp, 26 – after the family moved to Cape Town, South Africa in 1995 when she was just three years old.
