About this ebook
MURDER IN THE FAMILY. MURDER BY DADS, MOMS, KIDS & SPOUSES.
The family home is supposed to be a place where family members find a safe haven from the stress of outside life. A place where they feel protected and loved. Yet for many this is simply not the case.
The true stories in this short book demonstrate that the family environment can be a very dangerous place indeed. Not just for children suffering from child abuse, but also for mothers, fathers, wives and husbands. In the United States, one of the most treacherous places for a woman is in her own home. Women may be afraid of strangers, but it's a husband, a lover, a boyfriend, or someone they know who is most likely to hurt them and they are at the highest risk of suffering violence or murder when they are divorcing or separating from a partner. Men too can suffer abuse from their wife or partner but the difference in physical size and strength puts a woman at greater risk than a man.
For children, the greatest danger is not an unknown stranger, but their immediate families.
Is your family safe?

Killer Families - SYLVIA PERRINI
INTRODUCTION
The family home is supposed to be a place where family members find a safe haven from the stress of outside life. A place where they feel protected and loved. Yet for many this is simply not the case. In this short book I have extracted a story from each of my books in the MURDER IN THE FAMILY series.
These stories demonstrate that the family environment can be a very dangerous place indeed.
Dangers to children from their families include: emotional abuse and neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse or murder.
According to writer and political activist, Barbara Ehrenreich, in her article Are families dangerous?
she does not believe there is such a thing as a functional
family and that families are the most dangerous place to be. She believes that each and every family needs counseling.
Family violence is far too widespread among all sectors of society. One needs only to watch the news on television or to read the newspaper to realize this. Headlines shout at us, Father abuses his daughter,
or Woman is murdered by ex-husband’’ or
Baby murdered by his mother", among others. Luckily, this not the norm or it would not get reported.
I believe that while no family is perfect, the majority of families do not present an unhealthy living environment for those living within it. And that a family still remains a safe haven for most individuals in which to raise their children and to keep them safe.
You may well disagree with me after reading the following stories. Please feel free to contact me to let me know. I always love to hear from my readers.
Sylvia.
DEADLY DADS U.K: TRUE CRIME
CERI FULLER: DADS WHO KILL U.K.
GRIM DISCOVERY
On the morning of July 16 th , 2012 in a countryside recreation area of attractive ancient oak woodland with substantial colonies of orchids and long disused quarry workings enhanced by tremendous views across Pontesbury and the Rea Valley in Shropshire, England, a member of the public spotted a red Land Rover Freelander which had been reported as missing on the news. He called the police who came to investigate and began a search among the muddy, overgrown paths for the missing occupants believed to be a Mr. Ceri Fuller and his three children.
By the edge of a quarry, the police came upon a scene of unimaginable horror. The bodies of three children: Samuel age 12, Rebecca age 8, and 7-year-old Charlotte Fuller were found. All three children had been stabbed to death. Sam had died from a single deep wound to his neck, Rebecca had died from five stab wounds to her chest, and Charlotte had died from four chest wounds. Samuel and Rebecca also had cuts on their hands, which looked as if they had desperately tried to defend themselves.
Close by the bodies, wedged into a mound of rocks, a 6.5inch (17cm) bloodstained hunting knife was found. There was no immediate sign of their father. The police later found 35-year-old Ceri Fuller’s dead, broken body at the bottom of the 60ft quarry drop with a fractured skull.
