About this ebook
This was Helen James first day at the Church-in-the-Woods Academy. The last thing she wanted was to be needed by the Visitants to solve some problem that they had discovered in the universe so when Hyming wrapped himself around her she objected to going. He said it was important so she agreed provided he did something for her, put 2 boys, who were bullying her, up on the school roof. As they neared their destination, on the far side of the universe, Helen was confused as there was no sign of a galaxy, star system or planet. The Visitants home cloud was tracking what looked like a lump of ice. In fact it was a space ship but something was wrong and they needed Helen to find out what had happened. Because, once the visitants had left a thin film of themselves around Helen she was able to live in what ever environment she was taken to and could communicate with the beings she was here to help. This made it easier for Helen as she was able to understand the controls off the space ship. With the help of the Visitants children Helen was able to discover what had happened and could turn the ship around and send it back home. What surprised Helen was that the space ship had originated from a planet within the Milky Way.

Preface
It is now 3 years since, at the age of 8 years old, Helen James had first been taken across the Universe by Hyming, a ‘Visitant’, to solve problems and save lives.
The ‘Visitants’ continuously patrol the Universe. When they find a Galaxy, Star System or planet heading for destruction, they bring in one of the 5 ‘Goods’ from around the Universe, to put it right.
Helen James is a ‘Good’.
She lives with her mother and elder sister in Bulverhythe-on-Sea, a small town on the South coast. At the age of six her father had been killed in a car accident while he was at work. Since then her mother has struggled to keep a roof above their heads and food on the table.
Chapter 1 - Lancaster or Loughbourgh University?
By now Helen James was 11 years old. It would soon be time for her to leave this school and move on to the local secondary Academy.
Helen had discussed which Academy she should apply for with both her teachers and her grand parents and all agreed that the best one for her was the Church-in-the-Wood Academy. Helen knew that her mother wanted her to attend Cherry Tree Academy as this one was nearest to where they lived.
But mum, they don’t have physics at Cherry Tree Academy,
Helen said.
You don’t need physics to work in a shop,
her mum replied.
I’m not going to working in a shop. I want to be a scientist and travel into space and see other worlds.
Don’t be so silly Helen. You would have to go to University to be a scientist.
I know that. I want to go to Lancaster University.
Now you’re being really silly. People like us don’t go to University.
Well I will,
Helen retorted.
You’re not bright enough,
she said.
If I can go to Church-in-the-Wood Academy, I will work hard and prove you wrong.
You will go to Cherry Tree Academy, and that’s final,
her mum said.
"My head of year and Nan all agree I should go to Church-in-the-Wood, Helen said.
You’ll not disobey me my girl. Go to the naughty step,
her mother snapped.
I’m 11 years old, the naughty step is for children,
Helen protested.
If you argue with me, you are still a child. Go!
As much because Helen needed space and a place to think, she did as she was told. She left and sat on the 3rd step of the staircase.
It was sitting on this step, 3 years ago, that it all started for Helen. A blue haze came in through the letterbox and engulfed her.
This blue haze was Hyming and he took her out of the house and across the Universe to the Yunkery Star System in the Cytial Galaxy. Hyming
