Introduction

In 2016, I released this book, The Lipstick Series. Well, you know what they say, When you give others the keys to progression, you will soon be tested in that same area. Shortly after releasing this book, I was tested on everything I wrote in this book. After much prayer, I decided to re-release this project. Ladies, this edition is packed with even more than the original! I am honored and elated to share with you The Lipstick Series: Reloaded! If you’re new to The Lipstick Series conversation, allow me to fill you in with what this book is all about.

As a young girl, I began with a simple lip gloss from the local beauty supply store. When I grew up, MAC became my lipstick of choice. I wore it every day. It was perfect for work and play. I loved my lipstick until I realized that it had become a mask to cover up the true me.

No one can see what truly lies beneath the perfect shade, right? Wrong. You see, no one ever told me that my true shade affected my selected shade. No one ever shared that no matter how many layers of lipstick I applied, my true shade would eventually seep through.

So, I began to take a look at some of my favorite shades. I realized that I had been wearing them for far too long. I had to discontinue my shades of Abandonment, Fear, Fornication, Low Self-Esteem, Rejection, Suicidal Thoughts, and an Unloving Spirit.
