About this ebook

When everything is happening as expected, public services are working; you and I don't need all this survival preparation. Because plan A aka no plan is working well. People require usual preparations in normal times. But when things go bad, utility and law enforcement services, malls, pumps become dysfunctional, then we need more than usual preparations and more planning than Plan A. We need plan B, the preppers plan.

So this book follows a moderate and practical approach that most of us can follow with relative ease and in a cost-effective manner. These preparations will definitely bring to you and your family peace of mind, self-reliance, confidence, and safety.

    Survival Guide - S VASIST

Threats - Why we need survivalism

Aprepper thinks, prepares and plans for the future events that may impact his wellbeing. At its core, It is essentially increasing the odds of survival of you and your family. Survivalists are usually known as preppers in social and mainstream media. It is nothing but preparation and training to face difficult times successfully and with relative ease. It is like insurance of disasters and threats. In today's world, we face many threats like NBC (Nuclear Biological Chemical) threats, natural disasters, city crime, and home invasions, etc. Most of the preparations that preppers do are general in nature and can be used in multiple threats scenarios.

    b3-1

WHEN EVERYTHING IS happening as expected, public services are working; you and I don’t need all this survival preparation. Because plan A aka no plan is working well. People require usual preparations in normal times. But when things go bad, utility and law enforcement services, malls, pumps become dysfunctional, then we need more than usual preparations and more planning than Plan A. We need plan B, the preppers plan.

But a prepper should be well balanced in his present life, and preparations should be reasonable. Very few preppers take this to an extreme, while most of the people in this world don't even know or think about survivalism and prepping. But I try to follow a more balanced path, to be adequately prepared for most emergencies and to be flexible in my approach as the new threats are emerging. I do not want to take prepping to extremes, it may provide near-perfect chances of survival, but costs of time, money, and effort outweighs potential increase of benefits. But moderate adequate preparations can give you high returns in terms of increased odds of survival.

So this book follows a moderate and practical approach that most of us can follow with relative ease and in a cost-effective manner. These preparations will definitely bring to you and your family peace of mind, self-reliance, confidence, and safety.

    Before -The Normal Times
