About this ebook
We're living in an increasingly scary world. Folks, five years ago I wasn't prepared to survive, protect my family, or help anyone else. It was a real wake-up call, and I've spent the last five years of my life prepping.
This novella isn't like most prepping books. I wrote this for anyone new to prepping. I'll show you how to build a proper bug-out bag, what food and supplies you need, and how to prep on the cheap! America's next SHTF scenario is just around the corner. I'm here to help.

What is prepping?
Forget about the TV shows that depict preppers as all-in, total doomsday fanatics. Yes, those people exist but they are few and far between. A prepper is someone who is, well, prepared. In the same way that the average citizen buys insurance or saves away for their kid's college tuition, preppers are forward-thinking – we're able to read between the lines of the news reports and figure out what's coming next. Mostly because history shows us that bad things are coming. It's not a matter of if but when.
The United States has a failing economy, a failing supply line, and our social structure is also failing. The wheels are falling off of the America experiment and please don't misunderstand what I'm saying – I hate to see it, I'm a patriot – but it is what it is. This isn't President Obama's fault, President Trump's fault – this is extremely poor money management and government spending for the last 100 years. This is spending money hand-over-fist when we're already trillions in debt. Our politicians have a way of, shall we say, kicking the can down the road. Folks, we're now reaching the cul de sac and, when that happens, all hell will break loose both financially and I believe physically. It's time to get prepared.
As preppers we hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Hopefully the U.S. Economy will recover – perhaps they'll unearth hidden gold in Utah and begin printing money backed by something of actual value. However, we must prepare for the fact that America as we know it will be over soon, and perhaps it's already behind us. If the government structure fails, how do you eat? Will you have drinkable water? A heat source? Protection? This short novella is here to help you decide what's best for you and your family and do so in basic terms. Also, just so you know, I intend to show you how to prep on the cheap! A lot of preppers will browbeat you into buying the most expensive products out there because they're paid to endorse said products. I'm not that guy. If I tell you something works, it works for me or has in the past. Many of the products I cover will be available on Amazon and I'll link them right here in eBook format. If you're reading this in paper the products are easily searchable at Amazon.
This is a short read for two reasons: It doesn't need to be 300 pages and I'd rather prepare you in an hour so you have more time to get things in order. I will touch on the need-to-know things enough so that you can begin the road to prepping. You'll be far more prepared to survive when SHTF when I'm finished. I will cover all of this content in great detail in the future, but understand that each subject (Food, Self-Defense, etc.) will require its own book. I intend to write those
