    You have probably heard about anxiety repeatedly, but what does it mean to experience it? Anxiety may be a common psychological state problem that refers to being persistent in worry or displaying excessive amounts of fear. For a few people, anxiety triggers inappropriate or disproportionate responses to perceived threats, resulting in persistent and intrusive symptoms related to anxiety disorders, such as panic, phobias, and obsessive behaviours, which often have a debilitating effect on their lives. Anxiety is one of the foremost prevalent mental health problems within the US, yet it is still under -reported, under -diagnosed, and undertreated. This report explores the intersection between popular perceptions of hysteria, the experience of hysteria in people’s everyday lives, and, therefore, the impact of hysteria disorders. The experience of hysteria often involves interconnected symptoms and disorders. It is estimated that one in four people within the US will experience a psycho -logical state problem annually, while one in six experience a neurotic disorder, such as, anxiety or depression.
