Blinded by my ‘HANGOVER’

Groaning, I opened my eyes and reached for the water on my bedside table.

Taking a gulp, I thought about the fun I’d had with the girls the night before.

I was 25 and, like most Fridays, I’d hit a few bars with my mates after a long week at work. It’d been a blast, even if I had drunk a little too much wine.

‘My head is pounding,’ I moaned to my partner, Danny, who was next to me.
