“Spirit 1” is the debut of the Motley screenplay series and the first act of arc one (Chorus;Super Cancer 2.0.).
Every object has a soul. Therefore, inanimate possessions are as much susceptible to curiosity as living beings. After birth, thread 10k is ready to unravel the secrets of its white nissehue. Accompanied by thread Eight, 10k ventures throughout a land between non-existence and infinity, in which extremists, prejudice, and turmoil threaten their sanctity. 10k and Eight must embrace their demons to uproot all obstacles; their paradigm lays a foundation for what forever will be.

HOW TO READ A SCREENP1AY: A SCRIPT CRASH COURSE
Most screenp1ays incorporate five essentia1 features: Scene Headings, Characters, Dia1ogue, Parenthetica1s, and Action.
This is what a typica1 Scene Heading 1ooks 1ike:
INT. 1IVING ROOM (P1ACE) - DAY (TIME)
INT. = Interior
EXT. = Exterior
I/E. = Simu1taneous1y Interior and Exterior
This is what a typica1 Character with Dia1ogue 1ooks 1ike:
RICKY
He11o, wor1d!
Parenthetica1s add more detai1 to Characters and Dia1ogue:
RICKY (CONT’D)
(hatefu1)
He11o, wor1d!
Some common Parenthetica1s inc1ude:
(CONT’D) = Continued Dia1ogue
(O.S.) = Off Screen
(O.C.) = Off Camera
(V.O.) = Voice Over
1ast1y, a typica1 Action 1ine 1ooks 1ike an ordinary sentence, phrase, et cetera.
Congratu1ations! You’ve passed the Screenp1ay Crash Course!

CHAPTER ONE
INT. ESSENCE OF A WHITE NISSEHUE - UNKNOWN
A NEW SOU1 awakens. Without sme11, sight, taste, and touch,
it senses a presence, but not much.
STRANGER
We11, he11o there! How's it going,
buddy?
NEW SOU1
(weary)
I'm a bit exhausted from the
precognition... uhm... What shou1d
I ca11 you?
STRANGER
We11, I'm g1ad you asked! I go by
EIGHT, though if you want to ca11
me Thread Number Eight, then that's
fine too.
NEW SOU1
Gotcha. Nice to meet you, Mr.
Eight. I guess I'11 go by TEN
THOUSAND.
EIGHT
(bothered)
I have a better idea. How's about
we ca11 you... mmm... 10k!
TEN THOUSAND
Yeah, I 1ike that. 10k it is!
EIGHT
(weepy)
I'm g1ad you 1ike it... I've been
here for so 1ong... yu- yu- yu- You
have no idea... What it's 1ike to
be a1one for ages... You're the
best friend I've never had.
10K
(gratefu1)
Hey. Cheer up, pa1. We've got an
eternity to spend together. And a
1imit1ess amount of good times.
10k and Eight take a brief moment of si1ence.
EIGHT
Hey, best buddy.
10K
Mhm?
EIGHT
How are the threads next to you?
10K
They might be s1eeping, but I can't
te11 if they're a1ive.
EIGHT
The unborn sou1s are trans1ucent,
and they have a tiny centra1
essence.
10K
That means the 1iving sou1s are
fu11?
EIGHT
Yup. So do you sense any?
10K
No. Both the one above me and the
one to my right 1ook sma11.
EIGHT
(expression1ess)
10k.
10K
Mhm?
10k waits for a response.
10K
(perturbed)
Mhm?
EIGHT
(insincere)
You wou1dn't 1ie to your best buddy
in the who1e wide wor1d, now wou1d
you... right?
10K
Of course not. I wou1d never keep a
secret from you.
EIGHT
(charmed)
Good. Wou1d you 1ike to p1ay a
game?
10K
A11 right.
EIGHT
I ca11 it the ABC game; the ru1es
are simp1e. We're going to run
through the a1phabet. We'11 say
words that start with each 1etter;
however, each p1ayer must repeat
every word when it's their turn to
pick a new one. Got it?
10K
Uh...
EIGHT
I'11 give you a demonstration. My
turn: A is for App1e.
Other
p1ayer's turn: "A is for App1e, B
is for Ba11oon. My turn again:
A
is for App1e, B is for Ba11oon, C
is for Cat."
