Rescue in the Desert - A. J. Moyer
I couldn’t resist the new sounds and smells. Everything was different!
In every direction there was something I had not experienced before. The sounds of the birds. The rustle of leaves under my feet. I ran with great excitement.
So much fun!
I followed my nose to the next new place.
I did not hear them.
I did not hear them calling me.
When I returned it was too late...

Lucky lizard! Almost caught him.
Molly mumbled, I will next time.
Her black floppy ears drooped a bit, but she had a smile on her face. Her brown eyes were bright with excitement. She was a Texas Pointer mix, with short white fur and black markings. Her white tail stood straight up like a beacon.
Today, like most days, Molly is a very happy dog. That’s because she is doing what she loves, chasing anything that moves.
Luckily, she lives where she is able to run freely. Molly’s home is in the high
