Trouble
Yellow. Blue. Green. Red.
The bright colors of the hot air balloons reflected in the blue sky. Beneath the colorful balloons, strong lines secured baskets filled with happy smiling people.
Below, in the high desert forest, deer and javelina grazed undisturbed as the people soared high overhead.
The soft hiss of hot air forced upward kept the balloons airborne. The cool breeze helped move them along as they floated above the red rock cliffs and Pinion pine trees.
The Southwest mountains were quiet and peaceful in the early morning.
As the balloons moved across the landscape, they were visible for miles. Forest Ranger Sydney noticed the colorful balloons high in the sky and briefly admired them. She loved how peaceful they looked.

Laney, the mini Australian Shepherd, was busily looking out the Jeep window.
She sat perfectly still, only her nose was constantly sniffing. Her eyes were bright and her ears were alertly listening. She loved the forest, there was always something interesting going on.
She thought, I know I can find the first rabbit and chase it before Molly does. I hope we have time to play before the demonstration.
The white Pointer mix, Molly, sat with her eyes lazily closed, but Laney knew she wasn’t sleeping. Molly never missed anything. Now and then, Molly
