    Success is something many people dream of achieving and, if you are reading or listening to this book, you probably have had that dream or, at least, something close to it.

    However, many people have tried to attain success by doing everything they believe is right from getting the proper education and pursuing their dreams to starting a business. And even though they feel they do everything right and try their hardest, they simply aren't always meeting their goals.

    So, why does this happen? Why are some people able to easily attain success? And why do others do everything seemingly right but can't seem to get the wealth, respect, and power that they want?

    The answer is simple—habits!

    Many people are of the notion that successful business people gained success from their connections or money. Or perhaps because they're way more intelligent than the average person. While intelligence and connections can be factors in success, they're not the only way one can become successful. Many successful people grew to their current states through hard work, dedication, and more importantly persistence. They learned the true value of habits and how they can be instrumental in shaping your future and goals.

    So, what exactly are habits, and why do they matter?

    Habits consist of things we do every day both knowingly and unknowingly. Anytime you repeat a specific behavior, it becomes a habit. The habits you develop over time can then determine who you are and influence your overall life, including your level of success.

    If you pick up the wrong habits, they most certainly will impact your ability to meet your goals. This is why you need to be careful when selecting habits. You don’t just want to pick up any habits, you want to choose the right ones.

    Nonetheless, you don't need to make the same mistakes I did before you get the right results. I will provide you detailed tips on which habits to implement in your life and how to go about them.

    Do not postpone change if you are serious about being successful. You need to start correcting your old habits and incorporating these new ones today. By now, you probably know that you can't easily form habits in one day. You develop them over time until they are a part of you. This means that, if you want to learn new habits like those that we will be covering in this book, you must start today. Not tomorrow. Not in a couple of weeks. TODAY!

    Changing your habits and getting accustomed to new ones is not something that is going to be easy. But with the right road map, like the one you get in this book, makes meeting these goals very easy.

    Before we can dive into the habits of successful people, we must first seek to understand success.

    We all have our own definitions of what we claim to be success. For you, success may be meeting all ten of your goals and being able to now move forward with your next. For another person, success may be saving up enough money to buy the home of their dreams.

    Your dream of success can be as small or big you'd prefer. You're not required to box yourself into what is considered the norm.

    Remember your definition of success as your progress through this book.

    Understanding the Basics of Habits

    The key to understanding any concept is to analyze and review some of the basics. So, let's take a quick look at the fundamentals of habits.

    Habits are behaviors and rituals that we tend to carry out both consciously and subconsciously. They allow us to perform daily tasks often without having to think too hard about them. A few of these may include biting your nails, tapping your foot when you're nervous, or brushing your teeth.

    Every one of us has habits, and we tend to pick up new ones every other day. These habits can often be arranged into one of the three categories:

    ●  The first group consists of habits that have become a part of us because we continuously do them. Habits such as brushing your teeth fall into this category.

    ●  The second group consists of good habits we strive hard to develop, like those you will be learning in this book.

    ●  The third group includes negative habits that don't provide any benefit and hold us back from meeting our goals. These are habits we should strive to eradicate.
