About this ebook
Why a workbook? Thirty-two years ago, Gil & Renée said I do. A co-worker told young Gil, "If you want to have a good marriage, all you need to do is work on his marriage." Gil stood waiting to gain his inspiration and instruction, but he gave nothing! No words of wisdom or insight. Gil & Renée then began their marital journey at twenty-o

Foreword
BISHOP GEOFFREY V. DUDLEY, SR., PH.D., D.MIN.
God provided marriage and family as a fundamental building block for society and the propagation of the Kingdom. He entrusted Jesus, the Savior of the world, in the hands of Mary and Joseph’s marriage. God was up to something when he designed marriage and entrusted humanity with it.
Despite society and the Supreme Court rulings tinkering with marriage, it is still God’s idea. Marriage is a mix of ups and downs, laughter and tears, joy and pain, covenant and crisis, romance and routine, victories, and defeat. Adam and Eve gave us the first example of marriage as noted in Genesis 2:23-24 (NIV), … bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh the two became one.
However, their missteps have caused all m arriages to watch their steps. Now, we have the Word as a lamp unto our pathway to overcome the errors of Adam and Eve. While the Word is the absolute guide to a successful marriage, the syncretization and application of the Word is also needed. Rich Relationships Podcast and Our Marital Code to Oneness
are marriage guidance and principles at its best.
Gil and Renée capture all those moments to empower your marriage with their book. Their journey becomes a road map to having a successful marriage with a variety of real-life couples stories as mile markers along the way. They compassionately and skillfully articulate how to win in your marriage. They employ their experience in this seminal work. It is filled with easy-to-follow steps to a better marriage. First Lady and I count them as one of the couples in the country we watch as inspiring influencers in the marriage enrichment space. Read this book and let it inform your efforts to build the ecosystem that will nurture your marriage to what God designed it to be.
