INTRODUCTION

Hello, Mamas! I’ve tried to write this book as if I were sitting in a room with you, all of us dressed in pajamas, drinking hot chocolate smothered in marshmallows, fellowshipping, and sharing as we girls do. I’ve tried to write it this way because that is what I want you to feel as you read and work through the book. On my behalf, please know that I have nothing but sister love for each of you.

Now, I earnestly believe that steadfast prayers for grace and mercy, good health and healing, love and happiness, success and prosperity, purpose and service, faith and strength, and binding and loosing are powerful and necessary weapons against a world often filled with confusion and wickedness. If anyone is in doubt, a look back at 2020 should be enough to give you pause. I want to share the prayers presented in this book because the word of God says that where two or more are gathered in the name of the Lord, the Lord is there in the midst, and there is nothing more powerful than that.

The year 2020 was filled with global turmoil, neither seen nor imagined by most people 50 years and under. The word of God tells us that evil is real. It tells us that we will suffer storms. It also tells us that the devil comes in many forms to steal, kill and destroy everything that is good. The spirit of chaos and ruin is an absolute reality, but as mothers, we are uniquely positioned to defend and cover our children through prayer and thanksgiving. We are their first line of earthly defense and we are powerful.
