praise for Blended not stirred
Anyone who has lived through the daunting task of blending two families can tell you it comes with challenges and triumphs you could never have anticipated. In this beautiful book the author captures both the highs and lows of blending in a heartfelt and hilarious recount of personal experiences. Her insightful and thoughtful approaches offer a great guide for a newly blended family and a nostalgic feeling of solidarity for those of us who have been there. A reminder that none of us are perfect but if your heart is in the right place and you’re willing to try, you’ll soon find yourself on the other side of your blended mountain.

Tiffany Gravelle is the consummate expert on celebrating life and special occasions. She’s brought that same joyous outlook to one of the hardest experiences to navigate - blending one family with another. Tiffany’s vulnerable, honest look at her own mistakes and foibles as she faced these challenges and her hard-learned advice will help so many others find a multitude of ways to truly celebrate this new chapter of their life.

This is a must read for anyone who has a blended family, is thinking about blending families, or honestly... for anyone that has kids! Tiffany teaches lessons from the heart (and WTF lessons) based on her experiences. This book will make you question your own values and beliefs, and at the same time make you laugh out loud as you take a breath and realize how much her story connects to your own past. I love Tiffany’s perseverance, tenacity, grit, and belief that love truly makes a family. She teaches us to be resilient and shine our light, even when all the strikes are against us.

Foreword for Blended Not Stirred
As a clinical psychologist who works exclusively with adults, I can attest that the woes and wins of the parenting journey make appearances on the therapeutic couch daily. Perhaps it is because we parents feel that parenting is our weightiest task and the greatest metric through which our legacy is assessed. Perhaps it is because the many moments in parenting can represent our greatest joys and our greatest sorrows. Perhaps it is attributable to the depth and veracity of love we have for our children. Or perhaps it is because kids are far better at taking up their space in the world (and our narratives) than over-polished adults.
