...and he loves his mother - Brenda N. McClure

    About the Author

Brenda McClure is no stranger to adversity. She is the mother of three sons, including one with schizophrenia, and has been a wife for forty-five years. She is the bearer of Parkinson’s disease, a survivor of breast cancer, and a caretaker of her elderly father (now deceased). In spite of these challenges, Brenda is a nurse and a Sunday school teacher, but foremost a mother and a child of God.

Brenda was born in Leitchfield, Kentucky. She grew up on a farm and attended the local Baptist church. Elementary school was attended in Shrewsbury, in a four-room school house. After graduating nursing school, she started work at the Grayson County War Memorial Hospital, where she met her future husband.

Brenda currently resides in Owensboro, Kentucky with her husband and youngest son.
