About this ebook

Words of Peace and Love

Book 1

For devotion, meditation, Bible study, and spiritual growth.

This book has a unique anointing of God and is delivered in a most unique way by Margarite Evans-Brooks. Her messages are centered on the Word of God and formulated in poetry in a manner which makes receiving the message simple yet most instructional. The style and content will result in growth in what is referred to as, "In Christ Truth." This is the foundation of who believers in Christ are, what they have, and what they can do because they are born again and are continually filled with His Word and His Holy Spirit. You will be blessed as you read, meditate on, and apply the truth contained in this book.

    About the Author

    Dedication

With love and great joy, I dedicate this book in memory of our youngest brother John Favors. Johnny Boy answered God's call. As a child, he was a blessing to our family. As an adult, God used him to be a blessing to nations.

For many years, John had a speech impediment. He could hardly complete a sentence without stuttering. He would try so very hard to make a statement. Sometimes, he would stomp his foot on the floor as he tried to get his words out. Yet God removed his stammering and replaced it with words that flowed throughout the nations. I can best describe our brother, John, with the following scriptures.

⁴ Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

⁵ Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

⁶ Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

⁷ But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

⁸ Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

⁹ Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. (Jeremiah 1:4–9)

It brings joy to my heart and puts a smile on my face to also include in this dedication my other brother Paul and my three sisters Frances, Julia, and Bernadette.

Our love for our Lord God Almighty and for each other is our common bond. For this love, we give God the glory. He blessed us with a mother who taught us about Jesus and showered us with words of peace and love.

I am forever grateful for our family and our love and support for each other.
