DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to my daughters, Diamond and Anyli, but especially Diamond.
She was the inspiration behind the lessons I wanted to convey to the world, specifically women and teen girls.
This piece of work is also dedicated to all the women and teens who felt and still feel unseen, unheard and unloved but hold themselves together by the grace of God. You are worthy.
You Won’t Know Your Life Is Out Of Control Or Being Controlled Until YOU NO LONGER HAVE CONTROL.

Introduction
Have you ever wondered why the things you know now you didn’t know when you needed to know it? Don’t worry, me too. I feel it would have helped me avoid a lot of heartache, pain, embarrassment and time wasted, but I learned no matter when you learn the lesson, you better yourself at whatever level you’re at.
Originally, this book was written as a life guide for my oldest daughter, Diamond (who will be 18 years old in June) because I felt like I was going to die. I needed to leave her with a guide to get through life and how to defeat toxic behaviors. Now, in good health, I feel there may be individuals whose eyes are blinded to life like mine once were, and this created so many problems for me. I do not want that for my girls nor anyone else.
Let me explain this book. You will see that some lessons have something called The Story after it which will be in this color. I’ve added real-life, true stories to confirm the lesson that I have stated before and to show you that no one is exempt from the trials and tribulations of life. Even though I am the author, I have made some silly decisions, and I am humble enough to let you know that. I live a life of humility and transparency. This is how you build trust and become a leader. Now that that’s out of the way, I will continue to be honest with you. The Lord is my life, but I’m not too far removed when it comes to my children. I am a hardcore, sanctified, don’t touch my natural hair, Holy Ghost believer. No one and nothing will ever change that. With that being said, I reference Bible scripture throughout this book. I am not a Holy Roller. I do not know the entire Bible, and I do not and will not turn my nose up at anyone, but I will provide you a resource where I see fit. That resource is the Bible. I will not give you anything that I have not tried or am trying myself.
PART 1
The focus is on societal norms and what the Bible says about it.
What Society Say and Doesn’t Say
*YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL…….YOU ARE AN AFRICAN PRINCESS…….YOU ARE YOU
You must realize that you are made in the likeness of GOD (Genesis 1:27), and HE never makes mistakes (Genesis 18: 1 – 33).
You must learn to love yourself before you can love anyone else. Loving yourself means accepting who you are and what you look like. Claim your CONFIDENCE.
Lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3: 5 – 7). You are very smart girl or boy, woman or man
