Author

Bernie Tocholke

The author grew up on a farm in rural Minnesota. From the hard work, to enduring the winters in a cold and drafty house, or the language barrier of the grade school years, all helped develop the character that was needed to not only challenge but endure the onslaught of the cult in his most recent years. In his book he reveals his upbringing and continues with how he became a victim of the cult, and then eventually how he was destroyed by them. Like so many other victims of this cult, he shares how he also has lost his spouse and children by this deceptive, delusive, and pernicious cult. His life's driving force became the desire to share his experience within the cult, to hopefully protect other families from getting "Torn Asunder".

    Preface

As I start to compile my thoughts at how to write a book on one of the largest scams in the United States, my purpose is to warn as many people as I can about the dangers lurking in timeshare. Let us start by saying if you are an individual that makes a ton of money, and don’t mind splurging on many good vacations then this book is NOT for you. However, if you are somewhat struggling and can only afford a vacation once a year if you are lucky, then you might find this book to be a warning with a priceless value.

I will tell my story as accurate as I can and hope that other people can learn from how I was deceived by this legalized delusion. There is nearly no way to get out of it for the rest of your life, unless there is proof of coercion. I will explain that all in this book. I wish I could have read a book like this years ago, or at least before I signed my name to this trickery and cozenage.

Hopefully you, the reader, is still free from this timeshare nightmare and bondage. I am not and therefore I must fight. I have several goals which I may not accomplish all of them but I will list them as follows:

I need to publish this book to warn other people, and hopefully sell enough books to compensate for the swindling I received from some of the best con-artists you will ever meet. I will explain further what that means in later chapters.

I need to get a website that can be easily found. It could be the title of this book and then add dot com. If I give a warning to the timeshare place, they could quickly buy that domain so I cannot have it. However, there can be hundreds and even thousands of ways to captivate the message and then put dot com behind it. Swindledbytimeshare.com timesharedeception.com Scammedbywestgate.com DefraudedbyWyndhamvacation.com etc….

After I get both of those, I need to demonstrate near a resort, throughout Orlando, and maybe even in Washington, DC to get the attention of politicians. I need to get attention on the matter. I can place the website on my large van, using twelve inch letters. I have no problems speaking out against this hoax scheme which should be a crime, at least by not giving all the correct information before you sign. Their presentations are packed full of lies!

Once I get attention, I will pursue at getting on talk shows which I have already done on a different topic. Those times were extremely exhilarating! Even though the talk show was maybe two o’clock in the morning, I could not get back to sleep after that, due to all the adrenaline rushing through my veins!

Billboards are expensive but I might be able to get back my investment with book sales. My return (even if I just sold one book) would be a hundred percent better investment than
