    Foreword

Reiki as a Spiritual Practice: An Illustrated Guide is a wonderful book. First of all, Nathalie writes from her own personal, direct experience of having practiced these meditation practices. We can know something intellectually, but to really understand what the practices are about, we need to do them on a daily basis. Having worked with Nathalie over the years in my classes and retreats, I have seen how she has grown and developed a solid personal practice. This can be seen in her beautiful artwork. The drawings provide clear instructions on how to practice. There are many ways of teaching: we can teach in an auditory way, in a kinesthetic way and in a visual way. Nathalie’s imagery is stunning, simple and to the point, which makes it easily understood by visual people like me.

I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I do and that it brings you a deeper understanding of the system of Reiki and how to practice.
