    Dedication

This book is dedicated to my mom, Mary Ann Shoots. I cannot thank you enough for the times that you sacrificed, just to stand by me and for the days that you encouraged me and wanted more for me than I wanted for myself. I thank you for your prayers and for never giving up on me. I never had the opportunity to return the blessings that you gave to me, but I’ve always wanted to. Even though you are gone from this earth, I continue to strive to be the woman that you were to me. I hear your soft voice in my ear telling me to never stop and that’s my baby. I am forever grateful to you for teaching me how to be a mother, how to be selfless, and sacrifice for others; especially my children. I will continue to attempt to fill your shoes and leave the same legacy for my daughters that you left for me. I’m everything I am because you love me.

And to my daughters, Kamryn and Karrington, this book is for you. My prayer is for you to be resilient, powerful, and live a life full of purpose. Always believe in yourself, know your worth, and love yourself first. Thank you both for loving me! Greater is coming...

    Acknowledgements

Special thanks to all of my friends, you know who you are. You are my cheerleaders, my supporters, and your encouragement helped me to reach this point.

To my book coach and publisher, Natasha T. Brown of B&D Brand, thank you for believing in me and taking this journey with me. I remember praying for help in the morning and finding your page in the afternoon. It was God-sent. Thank you for believing in me and for keeping me focused whenever I wanted to veer off path. I never envisioned myself to be an author, but you did. I had so many ideas, and you brought them full circle in such a short amount of time. This year, 2018, has been all things new. I still can’t believe how much we’ve accomplished together—whatever obstacles I threw in my own way, you saw beyond and removed them. May God bless you richly for how you have blessed me.

To every woman reading this book, I know that you have what it takes to prevail. You have what it takes to birth your vision and live in your purpose, and you have the power within you to accomplish your hearts’ desires. It’s time to take the leap and prevail.

    How to Apply this Book

This isn’t a book that you read straight through. Instead, set time aside each week to truly meditate on and apply these power moves.

    Step 1: Power Move

At the start of each week, there is a Power Move for you to focus on throughout the week. Review each week’s Power Move on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning. Set your mind on applying this Power Move to your week’s routine and interactions.

    Step 2: Positioning

After you review the Power Move on Sunday/Monday, go right to the Positioning devotional. Positioning will help you determine how you’re going to apply the Power Move of the week. Your goal is to position yourself to achieve each week’s Power Move.

    Step 3: Prevail

At the end of your business week, on either Friday
