I wonder what's your version of us ending,

Am I the antagonist? Are you the victim?

off trees, your true colors now exposed,

Some of the memories escape me,

Like a Winters breath,

New lovers bloom like Spring red roses,

Eager to ignite passion, pleasure &

love like Summer wildfires.

What has happened to you?

You used to be so kind.

You used to be mine.

You used to be all these things,

but now what is it that has

molded your mind?

You have spread yourself so

thin you've lost who you are.

Please be kind to your own heart,

for all the loving you give unto

others you succeed in neglecting

to return the love to yourself.

I miss the old you.

You smile but I see pain, you laugh

& I hear sadness.

What is it that has influenced you so?

You ask for comfort just to push it away,

It's amazing to see you get what

you deserve to then see you deny you deserve it.

Take these blessings, embrace it & let them in,

for you are destined for greatness

for all that you have given.
