The Corona Chronicles
()
About this ebook
It contains 200 "jokes" collected by the author and shared with 50 friends through a daily e-mail offering. This
mailing was well-received by recipients--some of whom suggested that these jokes would make a book that other
people would be interested in reading. And so The Corona Chronicles was born.
The addition of illustrations was designed to "lighten" the book. Some of these illustrations are spot-on and add
another dimension to the humor--the author and artist sincerely hope. [In the words of Confucious: "Give man one
joke and he laugh for one day; give man 200 jokes and he laugh a lot longer."]

Corona Word Ladder
Dear Reader,
I’ve been collecting jokes about the Corona
virus since soon after it was identified and
named. In those 10 months I have collected
well over 200 of them!
Around April of 2020 I started sending out
a Daily Offering to a list of about 50 friends
that I thought would enjoy laughing at this
COVID-19 pandemic. (Better to laugh than
to cry is my motto!)
A couple of months ago a few of the folks
getting the daily mailing suggested that I
put together a book
containing all of the
irreverent (and, hopefully, funny) jokes I
had accumulated.
So I did. And you now are holding in your
hands the result of that effort. It would be
perfectly honest to tell you that collecting
200 Corona virus jokes is a bit of a chore.
But coming up with 40 illustrations to go
with them—and to actually self-publish a
book showcasing them—was a lot more
daunting job!
But it is all done now, and I can go back
to my lazy routines of retirement without
a care in the world.
Anyway, I hope you get a chuckle out
of this small book that took up such much
time and effort. And I want to publically
thank all of the people who enjoyed the
Daily Offering and submitted the jokes
which you will see in this publication.
They are the
