Entrusting Your Life In God’s Capable Hands
My prayer journey began when I realized that there were things that I had NO control of and there were things that only God had the ultimate control of. My life, family, dreams, hopes and aspirations were too important for me to leave to chance so I needed to partner with God so that He would be in the driver’s seat of my journey through life. I pray that you will begin this exciting journey TODAY!
God changes Caterpillars into beautiful Butterflies, Sand into Pearls, Coals into Diamonds, using TIME and PRESSURE and He is working on You right now.
The Story of the Beautiful Butterfly:
One beautiful sunny afternoon, a young girl was taking a stroll around her garden when she noticed a cocoon of a butterfly on a leaf. Thrilled to see this amazing transformation of nature, she sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through a little hole of its cocoon.
After a while the butterfly seemed to stop making progress. It was struggling so hard to get out! It looked like it couldn’t break free! It looked desperate! It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could go, and it could go no further.
The kind-hearted girl decided to help the butterfly. She got a pair of scissors and tweaked the cocoon to make a larger opening for the butterfly. The butterfly came out easily without any struggle.
But unlike any other butterflies in her garden, it had a swollen body with small and withered wings.
The young girl was happy that she made the butterfly come out of its cocoon without much struggle. She continued to watch the butterfly expecting that, at any moment, the wings would dry out, enlarge and expand to support the swollen body, which would contract in time. Unfortunately, neither its wings expanded, nor the swollen body reduced. The butterfly crawled around with shriveled wings and swollen body, never able to fly all through its life.
Although the intention was good, the young girl hindered the growth of the butterfly. The continuous effort from the butterfly to come out of its cocoon would force out the fluid stored in the body to convert it into the wings. What the girl, in haste to help the
butterfly, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle were the key to the butterfly’s beautiful body and wings.
Sometimes struggles and challenges are exactly what we need to grow in our lives. Like, the struggle to get out of the cocoon gives the butterfly its beautiful wings, struggles in our life makes us stronger and gives us wings to fly. The beautiful butterfly goes through a process as we do when we pray. Prayer is the KEY to our PROCESS in Life. Without Prayer we are just like that butterfly with a swollen body, never able to fly all through its Life. (Anonymous)

We often ask the questions:
When should we pray?
How should we pray?
Why should we pray?
For me all those questions are important but there is much
flexibility in how we do all the above.
I believe the only In-flexible part is how often we should pray. God gives us specific instructions and directions through His word. These are our Instructions for life!
Men (Women) ought to ALWAYS pray and not faint (how often should we pray? ALWAYS)
The prayers of the righteous avails much (Praying for one another begins with our
