About this ebook
This journey called life may cause us to doubt, cry, worry, hurt, or feel abandoned. At some point during our travel, we may face a divorce, death of a loved one, unexpected pregnancy, racial injustice or social prejudice, repossession, bankruptcy, or experienced ongoing frustration.
Regardless of those encounters that caused interruptions and distractions, we can agree that we all have one thing in common, and that is we need the Lord to Strengthen Us for the Journey. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and yes, we can make it if we don't abort our mission, calling, or destiny. We know with God, all things are possible.
Embracing the transitional stages throughout life is not always easy, but it is needed for your growth. We must trust God as we go through the process regardless of how tough and challenging the difficulties may be. It's imperative that you stay focused, and endure to the end, for your reward will be great. Hold fast, keep the faith, and do not give up as we envision our wings waiting to take us higher to new levels and dimensions.

Foreword
One of the most frequent questions we tend to ask ourselves is why. Why did I go through that, or why did things end up this way? Often, the lack of a satisfactory answer to the why
can worry us along our journey because we do not yet see how the situation will work together for our good. It can cause us to stop, give up, or even walk away prematurely, not knowing how close we are to the finish line. As we go through our various journeys and processes, they will lead us to the expected end God has prepared for us. With every new place in our life come new lessons, new mistakes, and sometimes new failures. Yet all things work together for our good. Our ability to embrace all these things is linked to our ability to trust and depend on Him to strengthen us for the journey.
Perhaps you decided to pick up this book because the title spoke about your struggle. You are looking for answers to why
or how the right words will provide peace, comfort, healing, and deliverance. Lord, Strengthen Us for the journey was written to help you understand that every challenge, transition, and transformation is part of our process that will develop us into the vessel of honor that God designed before the foundation of the world. The author links real emotions with real-life experiences. This life-changing word of God will remind us that we have not been forsaken or forgotten. No matter what each of us may have endured, you are
