About this ebook

There are times in our lives when our faith in God will be tested. It doesn’t matter who we are, the colour of our skin, our financial status and what positions we hold at our workplace, church, community and everywhere else. The devil will always have a way of attacking us and God will even allow those attacks to happen. This is not because we are being punished but is rather a way in which God allows things to happen for our faith to be strengthened, much like Job, who God was pleased with, to a point that He allowed Satan to bring so much pain and turmoil into his life. But Job was still resolute in trusting God, no matter the challenges he faced.

This book was written for anyone who may be feeling helpless, hopeless and discouraged. It is meant to help those who may be feeling down and frustrated by the challenges they face. It is a testimony of God’s greatness and goodness, even at our lowest point. Trusting God is what every child of God should do and it is pleasing to Him.

    Acknowledgements

1 Thess. 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Let me first give thanks to My Father, Saviour - Jesus Christ and Ever Present Help – the Holy Spirit. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path. I couldn’t have done this without You. You have been and are still my omnipresent helper and guide. You gave me all the guidance, knowledge and references I needed to write this book. Your presence in my life is much more valuable than anything in this world. Jesus Christ, My Saviour. What a wonder You are! You never looked at my mistakes and never reminded me of my sinful past, but instead, You highlighted my potential, purpose, pilgrimage and kept me thus far. You showed me where my future is. You became my friend and strength at my lowest times. You opened all doors for me. My God, Father and Creator. You created me for Your purpose. And I am thankful that You trusted me to write this book. LORD GOD ALMIGHTY…………………

My family: The entire Mosehla clan. When I told you about what God said to me about this book, you never saw this as a joke. Instead you encouraged me and prayed for me. My one and only sister, Ps. Nokuthulai Litabe and my two brothers, Vusi and Israel Mosehla: You played a big role in my life. When life was tough and all hope was gone, you kept on telling me that You are proud of me and that God and yourselves are on my side. Thank you so much. May we continue to keep our parents’ legacy alive. May we pass it on to our children and the next Mosehla generation.

Poppie Mosehla: Thank you for the years we have spent together and the blessing of having three wonderful kids with you. Your prayers and support have kept me going even during the worst times of my life. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you.

My children: Tumisang, Tolamo and Te’amo, who I love so deeply. Your presence in my life always evokes a smile and yet another reason to soldier on. I couldn’t afford to disappoint you in any way. You are my inspiration and pride. God trusted me with your upbringing and I embrace that privilege to eternity. I intend to stay and be there for you at all times. Daddy loves you and is so proud of you.

Apostle Kekeletso Melamu: Words are not enough to thank you for the seed you sowed into this work. Thank you for being obedient to God’s Word and ensuring that this book is published. May the Lord bless you in abundance

To every person who stood by me during my lowest times. The phone calls and messages of hope and courage which you sent me, have kept me strong and encouraged. Thank you for believing in me. You earnestly and faithfully prayed and cried for me and with me. Thank you so much.

    Foreword

One of the things I need to point out is that it has been a huge struggle to offer a perspective on the book as I kept asking of myself Why me, Lord? Suffice to say that the book touched my innermost being on how much one has been allowed to go through and what the world would like to term a quite untenable situation, but still able to go through it all and say I believe that the Lord was busy preparing me for bigger things. This takes gigantic faith and a lot of grounding in the Lord. The things you have shared in the book would have made a normal person lose his mind and even his life, but then yours is a complete testimony that the Lord is forever seated on His throne. No one could have been sustained this far if it was not for the Lord. This is God at play in His totality. I am then fully convicted that the same God wouldn’t take you this far to leave you. The turning around of your situation is quite near and the Lord is about to do a BIG THING. I personally believe that this is not just an ordinary story, but one can just see that this was someone speaking from the heart of God, in order to guide some of us who have gone through some difficult times recently. The book speaks to my heart and life completely and I can fully relate to a number of sections in the book. The fact remains is that this is one book which the Lord has directed you to put together in order to encourage a number of people out there who find themselves in helpless situations. God has spoken through you and I am glad you allowed yourself to be used by Him in this tremendous way. Remain humble and keep believing as the Lord has seen your tears and struggles. He has prepared a huge feast for you and the rest of your loved ones. I am also picking up numerous personal stuff where there is a sharing of the pain and one fully understands the situation that shall come to pass. May the Lord continue moulding you into the person who will be quite receptive and ready for what He is about to bless you with. Remain in His Word and keep trusting and believing in Him.

    Commentaries

    My dear brother, Isaiah!

Going through your book, I have to tell you that to me it is nothing short of amazing. What I’m hearing and seeing in your book is that the Lord is raising up saints like yourself to testify of His great love and power in ordinary Spirit-filled people and through the testimonies, you encourage others to trust in Him. I truly believe this book will give hope to multitudes. I have been encouraged, motivated, inspired and have learnt from your testimony and I am more convinced than when I first began reading, that this book is a God-given gift for people who are going through trials and various circumstances in life.

To me, this book is more than a testimony, it’s an instructional manual of how to navigate through life trusting in God. I personally see this book as a Bible study series which would be excellent for home Bible study so that husbands and wives could better understand how to encourage each other and parents could prepare their children to face life. I would recommend for it to be bought and distributed by those who minister in prisons. I can boldly state that the substance in this book is gold! Blessings.

Thank you for allowing God to use you in writing this awesome book and for sharing such great revelations. Stay humble as I know you to be, and be encouraged to keep pressing forward. I pray that the Lord continues to empower you for His service and that this book will bless many others as it has blessed me.

In this detailed unpretentious assemblage of testimonies, Isaiah Mosehla narrates the journey of a believer and his account, that is baffling at times. A simplistic view of a believer when one unreservedly relies on God’s perfect plan. This book is instigated at a time where there is great global uncertainty and will to its reader, be an antidote to a great wave of depression, more especially to the body of Christ. May every reader of this book be blessed and uplifted just as I have been. May it touch every life and impact every soul that is willing to find peace, in knowing that they can trust God for every circumstance they face.

My heart bursts its banks, spilling beauty and goodness. I pour it out in a poem to the king, shaping the river into words:

I thank God for leading you to write such a great book. It shows you prayed and were led by the Spirit of the living God to write it. The book deals with things which we God's children face daily. It inspires me to hold on when times like these come my way.

I personally believe that this book should be used as one of the reference books for every Christian and even in Bible schools. It would help families too as they hold their evening prayers.

The books has relevant Scriptures as our references to refer to as we go through each problems.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You have given us hope and encouraged us to trust God wholeheartedly.

May God bless you and continue to use you in your Ministry. You are a blessing
