INTRODUCTION

Jacob and Vlora have just recently gotten married. They decide to buy a house. But little do they know that the house as a horrible past that can tear their love apart.

CHAPTER 1

It was of a hot weather in the month of July, in the town of Grampton, Ontario.

I think this is the house we going to buy my love. I think that vintage houses are more appealing than modern houses, Jacob said as he pointed to the house that appeared online, on a website that sold estates.

Darling, this house is quite old. Those close to us will laugh at us, Vlora said trying to change her husbands mind so they check out other estates.

The house looked quite old. It was built with wood. It was decorated with stones. It had long rectangular windows that added to the overall look of the house and the windows were added symmetrically. Its roof was high and rectangular and was covered with red tiles. Two large chimneys sat at the side of the house. It had plenty of small windows below the roof.

The house was labelled as the Fernsby house, built in 1867. Jacob was drawn by the house due to is love for classic things. Vlora was not drawn by the house cause the house seemed unusual to her.

Jacob and Vlora had just gotten married. The were searching for a house online they can make their marital home.

Jacob Reid was a rich successful business. He owned a line of hotels called the Starbliss hotels. He inherited the hotels from his father who was late. Jacob was a very rich man and could be able to have whatever he wanted.

Vlora Jameson was also into business. She owned her own boutique store. She acquired this business through the funding of her husband.

No one will laugh at us cause I will transform this house. It will look more great that it looks now, Jacob said so he convinces Vlora.

My love there is something about this house. It gives me a chilly feeling, Vlora said.

There is nothing creepy of this house. I feel it is this notion with people that old houses are haunted.

No, I’m not saying it is haunted, but I just feel unusual about it.

Don’t feel weird things about this house cause I’m buying this house.

Since you have said you will transform it then it is okay. You can buy this house. As long as you are happy when the house is bought I’m happy.

You will see darling after I’m done with this house you will love it.

Okay then we will see my love.

It was a mildly warm night around 11 p.m. Jacob and Vlora were sleeping in their bed. Jacob turned his head to glare at his wife. Thoughts of gratefulness came to his mind.

Among all women no woman as loved me as this woman. She truly loves me and does not love me for the money. She puts my interest first. God I thank you for this great woman you have put in my life. I will live my life to love and please her any way I can.

Jacob took a piece of paper and wrote on it 5 Reasons why I love you. He wrote the reasons, and when he finished he switched off the lamp by the bedside.

The next morning as Jacob was about to go for work he left the note on the dressing mirror. He grinned to himself glaring at the note. He then walked out of the room.

As Vlora sat on the dressing mirror chair she observed the note. She took the note and read what was written on it. A grin came on her face as she read what was written on it.

You wish the best for me.

You are beautiful.

You make my life liveable.

You love me for me.

You give meaning to my life.

Vlora after reading took her cellphone. She texted a message and sent it to Jacob.

Jacob was in his office when the massage reached him. He smiled when he saw it.

Thank you my love for this romantic gesture through this note you left behind. You are the best love of all. Thanks once more.

Jacob read the text massage and he grinned. He replied to her.

You are more than welcome love. I’m glad you loved my gesture. You deserve that and more. Thanks for all you do for me. I love you my dearest love.

It was in the afternoon when David came in the Jacob’s office. David was a close friend to Jacob. He also ran his own enterprise of car dealership. Jacob knew David from high school times.

Welcome my friend, please sit down, Jacob said pointing to the office chair in front of him.

How have you been my friend? David asked.

Well, I’ve been fine. I will be more fine when the building we bought on Broadway avenue is finished by the contractor working on it.

It will be finish man. Maybe they are taking time so they meet your requirements.

I can’t wait man so we start taking in clients who are healthy heads as our motto is to promote health as an enterprise.

Man I'm happy for you for how successful you have become with your hospitality business.

Man this is just the beginning the best is yet to come, and you how is your car selling business doing?.

Aaaaaaaah, my car business is okay, but I want to reinvest so the business becomes bigger than it is.

It will become big my friend and I will be there to support anywhere I can. Just call if you need my help in anything. After all what are friends for.

Jacob, you are really the man. You are really a good friend.
