About this ebook
This is a book of poems, and the Personal Legend of a 28 year old woman Alchemist from Cranston, Rhode Island. Every poem was made from scratch, strength, and grace; and they all come together to create her grimoire of magic over the last 4 years. It’s for anyone who needs love, and everyone who believes. It’s beautiful and witty, and spiritual and messy. And it’s all true. And it’s all love; for life, Spirit, lessons, family, and even the messiest of messes. And for her. And you.

About the Author
Venting and Blessings
I crave him worse
than any cigarette,
but either way,
the habit
is still costing me my life.
-He’s a Cancer
The problem with sinning
is it doesn’t feel like eternal damnation.
It feels like fun,
and you’re my favorite game.
We put our Poker faces on,
hide our cards from the person to our right.
We win every time,
but practice makes perfect,
so we practice every night.
And the adrenaline tastes like sugar,
so why am I so salty,
about cheating to win?
-Confessions of a Queen of Hearts
When I hear you
say my name,
it sounds like
the sweetest compliment
I’ve ever heard.
-Pillow Talk
I was your getaway.
Got so familiar with the land,
you could’ve given directions to a stranger.
Got so used to my warmth,
you wondered how you ever tolerated the cold.
Got to love me so much,
you wanted to stay forever.
But honey,
you knew when you got here,
I’m paradise.
I could never be home
to a 9-5.
-I’m not meant for the Average Joe
Everything about him,
his laugh,
his thoughts,
his eyes,
his soul,
makes me feel like
a little kid on Christmas
who got everything she ever wanted.
And being with him
feels like my favorite pair of Adidas,
worn-in and comfortable.
And I love him more than
red velvet cake on my birthday
with cream cheese frosting,
and chocolate sprinkles on top.
It’s the most epic climax
on clouds and clean sheets
in a saged room.
With trust,
and lust,
and love,
and him on top.
-Intimacy
We knew what was going to happen.
But my optimism,
despite the evidence,
got the best of me.
We did what we were created to do.
I filled you up,
you drained me dry.
Initial hypothesis was incorrect
as evidenced by the data,
and your selfish ass.
We’ve come to our conclusion,
but you don’t like the final answer.
-Chemistry
Signs come in 3’s.
So how many more times
do you need to come,
before you realize we’re meant to be?
-Lust and Stardust
On Monday he told me,
I look beautiful in blue.
On Tuesday he smiled,
said I’m gorgeous in green.
On Wednesday he said,
he loves me the most in red.
On Thursday he swore,
he loves me in yellow even more.
On Friday he confessed,
he loves me in white more than
all of the rest.
But Saturday and Sunday,
he told me he loved what
I wasn’t wearing
the best.
-I like the way he sees me
It doesn’t matter where we are.
Whenever I’m laying next to you,
I’m home.
And I guess that’s why,
it doesn’t matter where the Universe takes me.
I’ll
