In our modern era, women also participate in the production process. In other words, male and female roles have changed. Males and females both play an active and equal role in home and professional life. However, there are also tragic marriage examples, in which women feel subordinated. There are young girls who are sold to older men under the name of “marriage.” There are wives who are subject to domestic violence frequently.
My book, “My Marriage is Great,” is written for the modern educated men and women who believe in the equality of women and men and who wish to make right decisions for their family life.
We should understand that everybody should read this book in order to help themselves and to improve their relationships. Know that you cannot train or change anyone else other than YOURSELF.
You will realize that most of your problems will be resolved when you enlighten your inner self and when you find the roots of the difficulties you face within yourself.

Gizel Hazan (Ender) TED Ankara Koleji ve Boğaziçi Üniver-sitesi ilk bilgisayar programcılığı mezunlarındandır. MY MARRIAGE IS GREAT

I want to dedicate this book to my mother who raised us with unconditional love. Raşel Alazraki Ender, my mother, who took care of my father for 35 years after he had a stroke from his heart, within a marriage of 55 years. She did not complain even one minute of her life, she never searched for luxury. She adapted a principle not to be a burden to her children. She is now at the age of 90 and is still giving us lectures on positive thinking and thanking to everything we have, during each conversation we have with her.

I ask myself: What if it was not my father but my mother who lived with stroke for 35 years, what would happen to all of us?

Gizel (Ender) Hazan is a graduate of Ankara College and one of the first graduates of Bosphorus University computer programming. Later she had the bachelor’s degree in psychology and she took a masters degree in student psychology. She had a lot of certificates regarding the subjects such as Yoga, Reiki. She has written four other books which are already published, as My New Home is Great, My Health is Great, My Lessons Are Great, The Secret of my Child’s Success.

She was born in Ankara but moved to İzmir right after she got married and she lives in İzmir for 36 years now. She worked as a computer programmer, banker and computer teacher. In order to help her own children and the students at her class through her teaching career, so that they could grow up as happy and successful individuals, she gave importance to psychology education and she had the bachelor’s and the masters degree from a university abroad via open learning.

She prepared this book by using her marriage experience of 36 years with her husband who is a doctor of agriculture along with the various marriage models of every age around her and all the knowledge she learned during courses she got through her educational life. She believed that a happy home life is severely important especially in better raising the new generations.

She believed that with the new generations who were raised happily and peacefully, our world will be a better place where we can live happier. Her upcoming books will be on the new generations’ new age children, in order to educate them with mental health and sanity as the future belongs to the children and the youth.

Preface

The couples should read this book separately, just to fix THEMSELVES. There is only one person that we can fix. OURSELVES. If everybody fixes themselves, inside of the houses, families, countries, our world becomes a happy wellness center.

The biggest reason for me to write this book My Marriage is Great is that our new generation girls and boys cannot maintain the institution of marriage healthily for long years. According to the statistics, the divorce rates increased extremely within the last years. This is not only like this in our country but also in the world. This is a subject that necessitates to be worked on.

In my book I will explain from different angles the keys to the happiness of a couple and a family. Actually when we unlock the key of happiness from different angles we see that the key is in fact within us. Not outside of us. Maybe if we can comprehend before getting married that the key to happiness is within us through life, if we get married not only just because of love but also to create a happy family environment until the end of life, we shall live a joyful life.

With the modern life, the women also participate the production process and man & woman roles are all changed. Man and woman, they both play a part at the house and at work life. The equality of woman and man has started to increase both at home and business life. However, there are some very tragic marriage models especially with regards to our girls in our society and in our world. The girls that are sold to men much older than themselves under the name of marriage at a very small age and other more tragic, obligatory marriage versions in which the young girls’ names are not even mentioned as a personality. It is so sad that I wish these kinds of marriages will disappear from the world history.

My book My Marriage is Great is written for the modern educated men and women who believe in the equality of woman and man, who have the right to make their own choices.

Please do not give this book to your spouse or your future spouse, without reading it yourself, saying look this book is just for you, read it and change yourself. Know that you cannot train or change anyone else other than YOURSELF. Marriage is just like driving a car. You are just responsible of your OWN car. You cannot sit to the driver seat of the car next to you and drive it. You can only drive your own car. In marriage you can only change yourself and arrange your perspective. Marriage is like driving your car in a heavy traffic in accordance with the pace of the other cars.

The biggest problem of most of the subjects of marriages and the society is that we blame the others for the faults. We ourselves are bright, ideal persons, we are perfect! The blame is always on the person in front of us! We think as if THE OTHER is bad, inconsiderate, awkward, lazy etc… In the light of these thoughts they will ask to the person why did you get married then? As if he/she was a different person one year ago and he/she has changed suddently 180 degrees!

To conclude, we should know that everybody personally should read this book in order to purely and simply educate themselves. You will realize that most of the problems will already be solved when you enlightened your inner self and when you find the roots of the difficulties you faced within you and then you trained them. In other case, even though you divorce and find a new spouse, you will still unhappily repeat the same model over and over again.
